MACQUARIEDALE ORAGANIC WINES PET NAT 2024 - SPARKLING PINOT NOIR

This sparkling wine has beautiful light berry and cherry flavours and dances on the tongue. It is a beautiful example of an old-fashioned wine making technique of finishing the fermentation in the bottle which the French call  PETILLANT NATUREL. The bubbles are created naturally and enliven the taste on the palette. The wine is best served chilled and is ready to be enjoyed now

VINEYARD

This organic vineyard tendered with sustainable practices is situated in Belford in the Hunter Valley. Pinot Noir grapes planted  11 years ago on redloam/clay/limestone.

Pre-dinner drinks with appetisers are always better with bubbles.

WINEMAKING

Petillant Naturelle ( natural Bubbles) has origins dating back several hundred years. As the wine is nearing completion of the ferment the wine is bottled with lees and finishes fermenting in the bottle. A beautiful fine bead is created on pouring.

CELLARING

To be enjoyed now. The bubbles will get finer with some age.

Vegan friendly and Organic

The wine will develop a deposit on the bottom which is the spent yeast. Pour gently to avoid cloudiness. Always open away from other persons.
