A recent and outstanding addition to our cellar is Le Cornoyer Champagne from the House of Senez.
Yes, it is Luxuriously Expensive! There is a good reason for that.
Le Cornoyer is made 100% from Pinot Blanc grapes.
These grapes normally are found in Alsace, France on the border with Germany.
However, less than 1% of the region of Champagne is given over to growing Pinot Blanc. This is a rare grape which is magicked into a sublime rare dry Champagne.
This Champagne is only produced in small quantities and is only allocated to Senez’s special customers. We have secured a small number of bottles for our special customers.
“Le Cornoyer is the small parcel of land where our grapes are nurtured for your ultimate enjoyment, hence the name.
This is a dry Champagne with a lemony taste and tones of Yuzu and white peach, as well kumquat and kaffir. Citrus hints are the order of the day, to give your palate a treat.
The Champagne House recommends pairing with Risotto and Scallops, Lobster, Gravlax and seafood with Saffron Sabayon.
This Champagne has a special bottle and is beautifully boxed.
A special occasion, a special menu, a special champagne.
A special client, a special thank you, a special gift.
Someone will thank you for it.
